Making a booking

When you book through this website you will see a confirmation on screen and receive a confirmation email with a reference. That email is what confirms your appointment. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, please check your junk folder and then contact us — do not assume the appointment has not been made.

  • Appointments can be booked up to 90 days ahead.
  • Online bookings close 12 hours before the appointment time. For anything sooner, please call us.
  • The time shown is the time set aside for you. Longer styles genuinely take the hours listed.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the services page and are confirmed when you book. The price quoted covers the service as described. If your hair needs significantly more time or product than the service allows — unusual length or density, or removing a previous style — we will tell you and agree any extra cost with you before we start, never afterwards.

Changing or cancelling

Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before your start time. Inside 48 hours we ask for 50% of the service price.

To change or cancel, email or call with your booking reference. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under consumer law.

Lateness and missed appointments

  • If you are running late, call us. We will always try to fit you in, but a shortened appointment may mean a simpler style, and if too much time is lost we may need to rebook you.
  • If you do not arrive and have not told us, the appointment is treated as missed and any deposit is not refunded.
  • Because only one client is booked at a time, a missed appointment is a slot nobody else could take. We would rather you told us than simply did not come.

Before your appointment

Please arrive with hair washed and detangled unless your service includes a wash.

Please tell us before we begin about any allergies, scalp conditions, medication affecting your hair or scalp, or previous reactions to hair products. If you have not used a product type before and are unsure, ask us about a patch test when you book — some services need one at least 48 hours in advance.

Results and our responsibility

We will carry out your service with reasonable care and skill, as consumer law requires. Hair behaves differently from person to person, and a style will not always look identical to a photograph — we will tell you honestly what is achievable on your hair before we start.

If you are unhappy with your hair, tell us within seven days and we will put right anything that falls short. We are not responsible for a result affected by information you did not tell us, by work done elsewhere, or by aftercare not being followed. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Children

Appointments for anyone under 18 must be booked by a parent or guardian, who should stay in the studio for the appointment unless we have agreed otherwise.

Reserving something from the shop

Reserving is not buying. It puts an item aside for you, and no payment is taken through this website. The sale happens in the studio when you pay for it, which means you can look at the item first and change your mind without owing us anything.

  • We hold a reserved item for seven days unless we agree something else with you.
  • You pay the price shown when you reserved it, even if it has changed since.
  • If we get the stock count wrong and the item is not actually there, we will tell you as soon as we know. Nothing will have been charged.
  • If you decide not to take it, tell us so it can go back out to someone else.

If something is faulty or not as described

Anything we sell you must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. That is your right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and nothing here changes it.

  • Within 30 days of buying, if it is faulty you can return it for a full refund.
  • After 30 days, we will repair or replace it. If that is not possible or does not fix it, you can have some or all of your money back.
  • Bring it back to the studio with your reference or receipt. You do not need the original packaging to return something faulty.

Changing your mind about a product

Because you buy in the studio rather than over the internet, you see and handle the item before you pay for it. Even so, if you change your mind we will exchange it or refund you within 14 days, as long as it is unopened, unused and in its original packaging.

Hair is the exception. For hygiene reasons we cannot take back hair that has been opened, worn, washed, cut, coloured or installed. Please check the length, colour and texture before you leave. This does not apply if the hair is faulty — the rights above still stand.

Photographs

We sometimes photograph finished hair for the gallery on this website and for social media. We will always ask you first, and you are free to say no — it makes no difference to your appointment or the price. If you agree and later change your mind, tell us and we will take the photograph down.
